Father, empower our families to walk in obedience…

Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed are they that keep my ways. Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not.  Proverbs 8:32-33

Heavenly Father I pray in the name of Your Son Jesus Christ for godly men to lead their families to hearken unto the word of God to obey with the utmost regards to His word. To work out their salvation with fear and trembling. For their families to be holy, because God is a Holy God. Getting knowledge as they read God’s word, getting instruction as they listen to the Holy Spirit, then walking in obedience with the wisdom and strength that comes as they grow in Christ Jesus.

    and please strengthen those families who do not have a husband and father to seek the shelter of a faith community to assist them

    Amen for families. I will agree with Barb in prayer-may God give the church the Father’s heart and hands to extend in practical love.
