Recognize our Destiny

City Transformation: Heart of the City

  • Pray that we would recognize God’s destiny and vision for our city

“When the righteous prosper, the city rejoices; when the wicked perish, there are shouts of joy. Through the blessing of the upright a city is exalted, but by the mouth of the wicked it is destroyed.” –Prov. 11:10-11

We are praying again this week for transformation in the heart of our city life, physically and culturally.  We are praying that we would pursue our God-given destiny and be free from the effects of disparaging words spoken against us.

Prospering through Hospitality

City Transformation: Heart of the City

  • Pray for God’s people to prosper in hospitality to outdoor fitness enthusiasts, recreation seekers and tourists.

  • Pray for God’s people to prosper in our military posts, affirming the values of military discipline, integrity and service.  Also, pray that God’s people would be a source of healing to those traumatized by their military service.

  • Pray for God’s people to prosper economically through business, industry and service enterprises in our city. Also, pray that as they prosper, the city will prosper as well.

Healing and Hope

City Transformation: Opening Kingdom doors

  • Pray for keys of authority to open doors for healing and hope and to close doors to disease and dysfunction

We are continuing to pray this week for keys of authority for the Church in our city to open the doors to the Kingdom of God and close the doors to the evil that keeps people from His Kingdom.

“And the key of the house of David I will lay upon his shoulder; he shall open and no one shall shut, he shall shut and no one shall open.” — Is 22:22

“These are the words of the Holy One, the True One, He Who has the key of David, Who opens and no one shall shut. Who shuts and no one shall open.” –Rev. 3:7

“I will give you the keys to the Kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth must be what is already bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth must be what is already loosed in heaven.” –Matt 16. 19
