CSPrayerfocus beginning third year . . .

Colorado Springs Prayer Focus will be taking a short break from daily prayers as we prepare to redirect for our upcoming third year.  Stayed tuned for more details coming shortly. We are grateful for our faithful pray-ers and are looking for contributors for a neighborhood prayer focus.  At the top of the homepage is a link to a map of the neighborhoods of Colorado Springs. (We hope to include our regional neighbors as well such as Manitou Springs, Falcon and Woodland Park). If you or someone you know would like to provide prayer points or topics for a particular neighborhood, please contact us at csprayerfocus@gmail.com.

We pray for the El Paso county fair . . .

Lord God, as the El Paso County Fair ends this weekend in Calhan, we ask for a safe, fun and successful fair that celebrates the different aspects of life in our county.  Thank you for the farmers, the ranchers, the artisans, the homemakers and all those who are displaying their foods, livestock, crafts, and skills.

We pray for those who are launching…

“Go to the ant, O sluggard;
consider her ways, and be wise.
Without having any chief,
officer, or ruler,
she prepares her bread in summer
and gathers her food in harvest.
How long will you lie there, O sluggard?
When will you arise from your sleep?
A little sleep, a little slumber,
a little folding of the hands to rest,
and poverty will come upon you like a robber,
and want like an armed man.” Proverbs 6:6-11

Father, we pray for the young adults who are struggling to launch. May those who need to look for work get out there, those who are having trouble finding work find success and those who are working be blessed in their daily efforts. Give them your wisdom, your direction, and your presence as they make the transition from adolescence to adulthood.

Lord, bless the healing service…

“…Your kingdom come, Your will be done…” Matthew 6:10

Your kingdom came with Jesus announcing it over 2,000 years ago.
So we have continued it with works but Jesus said we would do greater ones because of where He is seated and where we are seated as His bride.

We lift up the planning of the wounded warrior healing service at Ft. Carson. We say we are ready and expectant to see miracles and a mighty move of God in that city within our city.

Dwell in our midst…

“The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.” Zephaniah 3:17

Thank you Father God, that you rule and reign over Colorado Springs! Whatever evil the enemy tries to throw at our City, we know that you will turn it on its face, into a blessing. We trust You, Father, to finish Your work here. Continue on with what You have been doing in our very midst. Yes, dwell in the midst of us, oh God!
