Integrity in Reporting 2

City Transformation: Integrity in Politics and Reporting

  • Pray that local editors, journalists, and reporters would have courage and boldness in the workplace and that God’s heart will be made evident through their work. (Prov 28:1)

We are continuing this week joining those across the country who are praying in repentance and against corruption.  Particularly, we are praying for the increase of integrity to reverse the influence of corruption.

The definition of corrupt is 1) guilty of dishonest practices, as bribery; lacking integrity; crooked 2) debased in character; depraved; perverted; wicked; evil

The definition of integrity is the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles; moral uprightness. Proverbs 10:9 says “whoever walks in integrity walks securely.”

“God himself put it this way: ‘I’ll live in them, move into them; I’ll be their God and they’ll be my people. So leave the corruption and compromise; leave it for good,’ says God. ‘Don’t link up with those who will pollute you. I want you all for myself. I’ll be a Father to you; you’ll be sons and daughters to me.’ The Word of the Master, God.”  –2 Cor 6:16-28
