Father, thank you that we can turn to you for wisdom in our every day decisions and that you care for us.
We pray for the 9% of us in the city who are looking for work. Show us how to engage, what to learn, where to look, and how to connect with your provision.
We pray for the owners of Chapel Hills Mall, General Growth Properties. Give them your wisdom on whether to keep the mall, to sell it, or to turn it over to the lenders.
And thank you for the county leaders’ commitment to buy local, helping to reduce unemployment here in our city.

Found out C.S. is NOT a business -friendly city because of our high taxes.
The city collects taxes on all business property, including desks, etc. I don’t know how the total amount of taxes compares to the tax burden in other cities, so I can’t say if we are business friendly or not. 🙂
