“See, I will send you the prophet Elijah before that great and dreadful day of the LORD comes. He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers; or else I will come and strike the land with a curse.” Malachi 4:5-6
Father, we thank you for your spirit of adoption, that when we come to you, we are adopted into your family and you give us spiritual fathers, mothers, brothers, and sisters.
We pray that the children of Colorado Springs will turn their hearts to the fathers and mothers of this city, opening their hearts to be adopted, whether it be legal or informal. Let your healing power move through those relationships, to replenish their souls and to bring them into maturity. Let this be a city where children grow up in the security of knowing they are loved.
