May our families thank and trust in you . . .

“Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”  –1 Thess 5:16-18
 
Heavenly Father, Your Word tells us to come into Your presence rejoicing and giving thanks to You in all things for this is the will of God in Jesus. As our city’s families came together last week to give You thanks, our prayer is that each family will continue each day to remember to give you praise with a thankful heart in all things, realizing that all things come from Your hand and that by Your spoken Word all that is came from You and is for You. We know that without You we can do nothing, so we pray that our families will take all  cares, troubles, and  request to You first, praying and believing with the authority of Your Word and in Your will in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. We pray to see miracles happening, family members healed, strongholds removed and the move of the Holy Spirit flowing in our families leading us in the way of Your Son.
