We repent on behalf of our families…

“Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my meditation. Hearken to the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for to You will I pray. . . .  But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of your mercy: and in your fear will I worship toward your holy temple.”  Psalm 5:1, 7

Heavenly Father, we come before You in this city to repent for our families as we have turned from the way of your word and your precepts. We have not taught our children to follow your ways or to walk upright in all our doings.  Lord, forgive us, have mercy on us and teach us your ways, show us your precepts, guide us in your truth that we may turn from our wickedness and to seek your face while You are yet to be found. For You are a just God. Hear our cry and show us your statues and cause us to follow You in all our ways to be pleasing to You.
