Jesus, we ask you to place a shield of protection around the firefighters of our City. Thank you for these special men and women who run straight into crisis situations, as the rest of us are running away from them. Thank you that many of the leaders of the Fire Department in our City are followers of You. Anoint these leaders with your wisdom, and let them reflect You in their work and in everything they do. Reward the firefighters of our City for their dedication and self-sacrifice, as they protect and care for the citizens of Colorado Springs.
