“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17
Heavenly Father, I thank You Lord, that You teach us Your ways through Your word and Your Holy Spirit and that You also correct us when we stray from Your word because we are Your children. Thank you that You train us in Your righteousness so that we may be equipped to walk through the darkness knowing that You are with us, guiding us as we keep our eyes on You and off ourselves. Lord help us as parents to pass Your word and Your ways to our children so that You Lord can equip our children to uphold Your truth and to walk in Your ways all the days of their lives. May we as Your family be good examples to the world to share Your love and Your mercy. In Jesus’ name we pray.
