We pray for our city’s adult education . . .

“Behold, we consider those blessed who remained steadfast. You have heard of the steadfastness of Job, and you have seen the purpose of the Lord, how the Lord is compassionate and merciful.” –James 5:11

Father God, as one of the adult education centers in our city closes, we pray for the other centers that provide learning opportunities for undereducated and non-native speakers who struggle with employment issues.  We ask that you would prosper the students who are working hard to better themselves and that they would have the resources of time and money to complete the programs successfully. We also pray that the centers where they attend would have the resources they need to continue to provide a place for ESL and GED classes in our city.

  1. I was a teacher for three years at the adult and family education program that is closing down. The Lord has begun to birth a dream in me to create my own adult and family education program through my church here at CS. I already am tutoring one of my old GED students and look forward to the day when I can have a class again. We will watch the Lord put this dream together to replace the program that is lost but replace it with a Christian organization where I can teach and minister without restrictions. Hallelujah!
