Prayer for 4-14 window…

Child in perilAnswer me when I call to you,
   my righteous God.
Give me relief from my distress;
   have mercy on me and hear my prayer. Psalm 4:1

Father, we pray for the 4-14 window, those people in our city between the ages of 4 and 14, particularly those who are in peril, orphaned, abused and/or in foster care. Give them relief from their distress; be merciful to them and hear our prayers on their behalf.

You invite us to call upon you in the day of trouble; you promise to deliver us. Deliver our children in this their time of trouble. We call upon you for the orphans of our city. Deliver them, Lord. (From Psalm 50:15)

    Amen. Expose the situation so that others can step in and help. Wake up the church to her responsibility to provide the solution.
