Lord, we ask that You will bring Your wisdom and insight to our new City Council, as they begin their first sessions since the elections. Each member needs to hear from You in the weeks ahead, for each decision and ruling they will make. We ask for Your favor to fall on the City Council members who know You. Let them be a great influence on the other members, and on every decision made for our City and its residents. We ask for Godly, sound judgments to be made by the members of this Council, so all of the inhabitants of this City can be blessed.
