“See, I will send you the prophet Elijah before that great and dreadful day of the LORD comes. He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers; or else I will come and strike the land with a curse.” Malachi 4:5-6
Father, we thank you that all fatherhood on earth comes from you and that you bring a blessing to those willing to be fathers to the children in their lives.
We pray that the men of Colorado Springs will turn their hearts to the children of this city, taking care of their own children and reaching out to mentor, coach, and care for others as well. Let this be a city where children grow up in the security of knowing they are loved.
