“Remember my impoverished and homeless condition, which is a bitter poison.” Lamentations 3:19
Conviction: those who have been in prison become homeless because they are unable to find work or they are unable to overcome the temptations that led to their conviction.
Father, every one of us have been created in your image, therefore we have worth and you love us. We pray for those in our city who have strayed far from your plan for their lives and ended up in prison. Give us strategies for redemption, providing us ways to guide them to a fresh start, a new way of living, and a new set of skills for earning an income. May the power of your redemption transform their thinking, their lives, and their relationships. May your love transform our way of thinking so that they can be welcomed back into the society of Colorado Springs.
