Lord God, as we celebrate today Thanksgiving, a national day set aside to thank you for our many blessings as a nation, we thank you that Colorado Springs shares in the heritage of the United States of America. We also solemnly repent from how far we as a nation have strayed from you, and ask for your forgiveness for our region’s part in dishonoring you. Turn our nation’s hearts back to you beginning with us in this region.
