Refuge

City Transformation: Hospitality

  • Pray for refuge (shelter or protection from danger or distress) for visitors and locals who are without home, family and/or support.

“Contribute to the needs of God’s people; pursue the practice of hospitality.” –Rom 12:13

This week as tourist season moves into full swing and we continue to move toward being a city of refuge, we are praying for welcoming and transformational hospitality in our city for visitors and residents alike.

Freedom from Dependency

City Transformation: Freedom

  • Pray for an increased presence of the Spirit in our region to liberate people from unhealthy dependency on people and institutions and release them into productive and fulfilling independence.

At the 70th anniversary of D-Day, our military city pauses to honor and appreciate the cost paid for freedoms we enjoy.  According to Chuck Pierce, “prophetically, 70 years expresses an end to bondage and a release from captivity. As we remember those who served and gave their lives for freedom 70 years ago, we decree a new measure of liberation and freedom is coming ashore in Europe.” We are praying this week for new measures of liberation and freedom to come to our region as well.
