Executive Government 5

City Transformation: Executive Government

  • Pray for President Obama and his team that he would work well with the legislature to effectively address issues that particularly affect our region such as the military, national defense and health care.

This week we are praying for our executive governmental leaders that they would faithfully, wisely and honestly serve all those they lead to the best of their ability.

“So give your servant a discerning heart to govern your people and to distinguish between right and wrong. For who is ableto govern this great people of yours?” 1 Kings 3:9

  • Pray for our city ‘s mayoral candidates as they campaign, that they could accurately and effectively communicate their projected plans for the city.  Also, pray that our city would make the best choice for our next mayor for the challenges ahead.

  • Pray for our city mayor Steve Bach and his team that he would be able to finish his term strong and prioritize what needs to be accomplished before passing the reins to the soon-to-be-elected new mayor.

City Transformation: Justice

  • Pray for judges and judicial systems that rule regarding religious freedom issues that affect individuals and businesses in our city such as health care provisions, gay marriage services and prayer groups in schools.

This week we are praying for the judicial systems that serve and affect those that live in our city.

“I will walk in freedom, for I have devoted myself to your commandments.” Psalms 119:45

City Transformation: Justice

  • Pray for our United States Supreme Court and its justices to be knowledgeable, wise and nonprejudicial as they address legislative and constitutional issues that impact major aspects of our lives and culture.

This week we are praying for the judicial systems that serve and affect those that live in our city.

“Fear the Lord and judge with integrity, for the Lord our God does not tolerate perverted justice, partiality, or the taking of bribes.” 2 Chronicles 19:7
