City Transformation: Declaring God’s Plan for Economy
- We declare that Colorado Springs is a city of wealth and generosity, where all can share in the blessings of God.
Over the last two weeks we were looking back at our city’s history for insight into God’s purposes for us. Dutch Sheets, at the Appeal to Heaven conference this last weekend, spoke of the importance of history. The purposes of God are not starting with us, they are continuing with us, so we need to reach back to what he has already done. We are not, however, going back to what was, but going forward to God’s intent for our city. So this week, we will be declaring God’s purposes for our city so that we are released into fulfilling our destiny.
