City Transformation: Supporting those with Hidden Disabilities
- Pray for those that advocate for families dealing with hidden disabilities that they would be successful in raising awareness, understanding and support throughout our community.
Hidden disabilities are disabilities that are psychiatric, emotional, neurological, medical, etc., such as bipolar disorder, PTSD, autism, ADHD, and chronic medical conditions to name a few. Although hidden, they significantly impact the lives of those who have them and those who live with those that do. These prayer points are contributed by local resident Melanie Boudreau who currently ministers internationally in helping the Church better understand and support those most affected by hidden disabilities. She is the author of Toppling the Idol of Ideal: Raising Children with Hidden Disabilities.
