We lift up our Service Members and their families…

Lord, we lift up our Service Members and their families today. We thank you for them, the job they do, and the sacrifices they make. We ask for your strength for them and for protection from the onslaught of the enemies surrounding them physically and spiritually. May they learn to rely on you in their weakness and in their strength.

Lord, give them a bullet proof mentality that allows them to be courageous in all circumstances. May they rest in you,  knowing that “their times are in your hands.” Be their comfort in loss and their strength and courage in battle.

We thank you for the reports of faith on the battlefront and pray that faith comes home. Help our warriors make the transition to faith on the home-front, as husbands and fathers, wives and mothers. Put them in places where they can grow in the Body of Christ, and give them the courage to speak out about the miracles they’ve seen. May their eyes and hearts be open and attentive, ready to give you praise in all things.
