Father, we cast down the idol of self-sufficiency and high-mindedness that says we can do it ourselves and figure it all out ourselves. We ask you to move in our city in a way that humbles us before you and demonstrates your great power, wisdom, and love. We admit that by ourselves we can do nothing of lasting worth, but declare instead that we can and will do all things through Christ.
