Thank you Father for the clear warnings you give us in the Scriptures. We pray that you would guard us from the yeast of the Pharisess, which is hypocrisy. Help us to be honest and real about who we are and lean upon your grace to empower us to be like you. Guard us also from the yeast of Herod, which is political manipulation and grasping for power. Help us to walk humbly before you and before one another, trusting you to lift us up in your timing.
