Father God, thank you for the many people who have respected authority, leading to an orderly and safe evacuation and return to people’s homes. We pray against the spirit of lawlessness exhibited by a few — those that would steal, vandalize, or start fires in our region. May their intentions be exposed, their damage contained, and their victims protected and/or restored. Deliver us from the evil of lawlessness!
