“And he told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not lose heart.” Luke 18:1
Thank You, our Great Father God, for the opportunity we had to see the leadership of our City reacting in such a proactive and compassionate way during the Waldo Canyon fire event. You answered all the prayers we have been praying over Mayor Steve Bach, Steve Cox, our police and fire departments, and others in leadership roles. Little did we know how they would be tested, but we know You were there, leading and directing them, just as we have prayed. And thank You that they fully supported the many chaplains and Pastors that were allowed to be with the people who lost their homes, at every stage of the process, even when they returned to their properties – Your people were there to support and bless those in such need. This would not have happened in many cities, but it happened in ours. Our leaders allowed You to be involved at every level. We praise You for this!
