Father God, we pray for the city council as it continues to debate the future of the Martin Drake power plant. As they work toward a study a decommissioning plan as well as weigh the Colorado Springs Utilities’ $73.5 million investment in experimental technology, we ask for wisdom and understanding, so they can make the best decision for the future of both the plant and servicing the city’s energy needs. We pray for unity and not strife as they work together on behalf of the city.
