We pray for UCCS’s neighbors . . .

“The God of Israel has spoken;
the Rock of Israel has said to me:
When one rules justly over men,
ruling in the fear of God,
he dawns on them like the morning light,
like the sun shining forth on a cloudless morning,
like rain that makes grass to sprout from the earth.” 2 Samuel 23:3-4

Father God, we pray for the neighbors of UCCS who are feeling the squeeze as the university expands.  We ask for wisdom and fairness in UCCS’s dealings with these neighbors.  We pray particularly about the handful of privately owned homes left on Cragmor Village Road,  one of the few remaining rural pockets in the city which winds east off the CU campus, parallel to Austin Bluffs Parkway.  May there be preservation of private homes and enviorns when possible and peaceful and well supported transition when necessary.
