Father God, we pray for the schools in Village Seven/Old Farm neighborhoods. First, we pray for Doherty High School, the largest in District 11 with a 33-year history. Thank you for its commitment to preparing students for post-secondary education and careers. We also pray for Evangelical Christian Academy, a classical and Christian school that has been educating students in Colorado Springs for the past 40 years (1971-2011). We thank you, Lord, for public and private options for students in the Village Seven area, and we ask for wisdom, provision and encouragement for school leaders, teachers, and parents at each of the schools, pre-school through high school, as they seek to provide quality education for each student.
