We pray for the leaders of the Pikeview Quarry and the residents in the Oak Valley Ranch area who live in its shadow. Since the landslides a few years ago, the quarry has been no longer in operation except to remove stockpiles of cruched limestone. We pray for those who make decisions about timing for new reclamation efforts and for safety for the residents who live below the potentially unstable mined area. We thank you, too, for the barrier the quarry provided to help protect the neighborhood from the Waldo Canyon Fire.
