We pray for Ute Pass . . .

“He said, ‘What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood is crying to Me from the ground.'” Genesis 4:10

Father God, we pray for healing of the land over the Ute Pass corridor from a century of violence and bloodshed stretching from Divide through Woodland Park to Manitou, including the first recorded murder west of the Mississippi. Many murders, some still unsolved, were committed as a result of greed, racism or religion: Ute Pass Historic Murders.  We pray for the establishment of your Kingdom and its law of liberty and peace in this area known historically for its lawlessness.
