Today, we pray for the Patty Jewett/Shooks Run neighborhood. We are grateful for this historic area with a well maintained, mature urban forest and multiple recreational opportunities–Shooks Run Park, Monument Valley Park and historic Patty Jewett golf course. We pray that these urban public areas would continue to be enjoyable to visit for all, and that visitors would be courteous to and appreciative of the local residents who surround and support these recreation areas.
