City Transformation: Valuing those who are disabled
- Pray for respect, understanding and care for the disabled members of our city. Also, pray for the caregivers and agencies most directly responsible for meeting the needs of those who are physically and mentally challenged.
As we finish the 40 Days for Life initiative, we continue to pray for a culture of life in our city. God values everyone: young, old, orphaned, adopted, disabled, good or bad. The materialistic views that are too common around us do not value people who cannot easily contribute economically. God cares about each one, regardless of their physical or mental abilities and inspires us to recognize what is valuable in everyone.
