City Transformation: City of Refuge
- Pray for a hunger for God’s presence to rise up in us that draws us to communion with Him as we go about our work day and releases His presence into all spheres of life in our city.
This week we are praying for Colorado Springs to become a City of Refuge. God is preparing many cities around the world to become cities of spiritual and economic refuge. He is using continuous worship and prayer to build the spiritual protection. He is using local business people and entrepreneurs to build the economic protection.
“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.”
We have a strong city; God makes salvation its walls and ramparts.
“And they will call them, ‘The holy people, The redeemed of the Lord’;
And you will be called, ‘Sought out, a city not forsaken.’”
Prophetic Words — November 16-17, 2012
“I am after the heartland of America, the heart and soul of this country, to revive the commitment to family, community, compassion and care for one another. I will focus on the heartland because those places still have a remnant that I can work with. And a healthy heartland will bring life to the extremities of the nation. As the coasts crumble, the people there will look to the heartland for help, for wisdom, for refuge from the chaos unleashed, particularly along the eastern seaboard.”
I saw a doorway open in the side of the mountain. It was large and opened to a huge cave within the mountain. I asked the Lord, what is this? He said, “This is the treasury. This is the armory.” I could see the sparkle of the gems within the cave as God said, “I am drawing out of the cave the supply and the weapons you need to accomplish my purposes for your day.”
