City Transformation: Supporting those with Hidden Disabilities
- Pray that local parents raising children with hidden disabilities will have the courage to set aside the ideals they had assumed were achievable and face the truth of challenges and necessary interventions.
Hidden disabilities are disabilities that are psychiatric, emotional, neurological, medical, etc., such as bipolar disorder, PTSD, autism, ADHD, and chronic medical conditions to name a few. Although hidden, they significantly impact the lives of those who have them and those who live with those that do. These prayer points are contributed by local resident Melanie Boudreau who currently ministers internationally in helping the Church better understand and support those most affected by hidden disabilities.
