City Transformation: Partnering with our first responders
- Pray for wisdom for how to build bridges between the police and the people in the neighborhoods that need the most policing during a time when the police only have enough resources to respond to calls.
After 9/11 and after the fires in our city, the police and fire departments were hailed as heroes. Lately, police departments across the country have come under suspicion and attack, some of it unwarranted and some of it deserved. This week we are praying for our first responders and their relationship with the people of the city.
