Lord, our city is dry, physically and spiritually. Send your springs of rain from Heaven to saturate our land and our lives. Send forth your Holy Spirit upon our thirsty souls, that we might be satisfied as we soak in Your presence.
Without your blessing of rain, Yahweh, the increasing threat of fire and destruction are already evident as in the recent Bear Creek Fire (photographed above). Have mercy on us, O Lord, and on our land, for your Name’s sake.
