Psalm 91 protection for our Troops

“Those who live in the shelter of the Most High, will find rest under the shadow of the Almighty” (Psalm 91:1)

O Yahweh, our Protector, our men and women in uniform are in harm’s way constantly from combat, car bombings, rocket-propelled grenades, and mortar attacks. Our worst day in America is so much better than their best day. Even upon their return home they are assaulted by the horrific memories of combat.

Lord, your Word says in Psalm 91 that whoever goes to you for safety, whoever remains under the protection of the Almighty can say to you, “You are my defender and protector, you are my God; in you I trust.” May our sons & daughters, husbands & wives, fathers & mothers, grandfathers & grandmothers in the military, and all our support personnel, turn to you and find rest in the shadow of Your Almighty wings.
