Lord, embolden our military community…

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”  Joshua 1:9

Your presence, Your shekinah glory was always with Your people. Reveal Your deep love for chaplains, families, and support personnel as they daily walk out their destiny. Strengthen their commitment to you, since that commitment brings resistance to all fear and anxiety about the future.  May their boldness and bravery attract heaven’s strength for You haven’t given us a spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind. May that sound mind bring our military community to salvation in Jesus name.

We plead your Mighty protection over our city…

“But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, accommodating, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial, and not hypocritical.” James 3:17

Jesus, we plead Your Mighty protection over Colorado Springs, especially during the next several weeks. For every situation that presents itself, give the Leaders of our City, and those responsible for making decisions about circumstances occurring in our City, direct revelation, wisdom, and supernatural insight and knowledge – straight from You. Guide the Leaders of our City to make quick, accurate and succinct rulings and decisions for any incident that may arise.

Guide our middle schoolers . . .

“My son, [my daughter,] hear the instruction of your father; reject not nor forsake the teaching of your mother.” –Prov 1:8

Father God, guide our city’s middle school students to listen to the instruction of their parents and their teachers that they may continue to grow in knowledge, good judgment and favor with those around them.  Guide their parents and teachers with wisdom that they will recognize the uniqueness of each student, and know how to train and encourage each of them as they head towards adulthood.

All Things in Common

The multitude of those who believed were of one heart and soul.  Not one of them claimed that anything of the things which he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common.  Acts 4:32

Thank you Father, that you love all of us and you put that love for one another in our hearts when we come to you.  Thanks for a new way of living life and doing business that connects us to each other and to your larger purposes in this world.

Lord, please give the business people of Colorado Springs fresh perspectives on how to work together and share with one another so that you can bless all of us.  Let us see the needs and opportunities around us so that we are no longer stuck in limited ways of doing business that keep us selfish and unaware of the blessings that are available.  May we lay down our lives for one another and receive from you a life greater than we could ever have on our own.

Muster your church for your spiritual war…

“Listen!, a noise on the mountains, like that of  a great multitude!  Listen, an uproar among the kingdoms, like nations massing together!  The Lord Almighty is mustering an army for war.”  Isaiah 13:1-5

“How could one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight?” Deuteronomy 32:30

Thank you Lord that you are mustering your church for your spiritual war, uniting us under our commander, Jesus.

We pray for more Intercessors to rise up and for continuous gatherings of united worship among the church of Colorado Springs.

Lord,  as  intercessors  pray for the city day and night, we trust You hear every prayer.  As  all the churches in Colorado Springs get united and worship You , let Your glory fall upon this city and release Your mighty power to crush the enemy’s strongholds and set us free. We thank You that You are already beginning to show us signs that You have heard us.

You alone are our Savior!  Oh Father let us see the day with our own eyes when great things come to make this city ‘the city on the hill’!

Lord Jesus,  we pray for 1Voice 4Transformation.  Help us to unite in ONE VOICE FOR TRANSFORMATION OF COLORADO SPRINGS.  We pray in the precious name of Jesus.

Bless the new Philharmonic conductor . . .

“Praise Him with stringed instruments . . .”

We pray for the Colorado Springs Philharmonic’s season debut tonight with its new conductor Josep Caballé-Domenech, its first new conductor in 10 years.  We thank you, God, for the quality and excitement that he is bringing to the Philharmonic, and we bless both the new conductor and the musicians, who bless our city with classical music.

Rid our city of domestic violence…

Father we pray for your wisdom, love, power, and truth to move in us so that domestic violence is eradicated from our city.  We pray that you would root out any beliefs, mindsets, or teachings that allow domestic violence to continue.

Provide wisdom to our law enforcement personnel who step in to diffuse volatile situations, resources and safe houses to the organizations within our city that provide help and safety for the victims, and protection to the people who care enough to help those caught in the net of an abuser.

And we pray for the abusers in our midst, that you would stop them when they are intending harm, nullify the power of their strategies to control, and provide the means to transform them into men of peace.
