Lord, bless the healing service…

“…Your kingdom come, Your will be done…” Matthew 6:10

Your kingdom came with Jesus announcing it over 2,000 years ago.
So we have continued it with works but Jesus said we would do greater ones because of where He is seated and where we are seated as His bride.

We lift up the planning of the wounded warrior healing service at Ft. Carson. We say we are ready and expectant to see miracles and a mighty move of God in that city within our city.

Father, cancel the effects of war…

“Be anxious for nothing…let your requests be made known…
and the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will
guard your heart and mind.”   Philippians 4:6-7

Even soldiers who are committed Christians are having difficulty re-integrating at home. Family and friends notice the hyper-vigilance that wears our service members down. Checking exits, making threat assessments even in church exhausts them. They’re stuck, they’re jumpy, they aren’t the folks they once were. Then they’re sent back for yet another tour of horror with chronic PTSD. Look with pity on Your children, Father, and cover them with Jesus Blood.

Father, speak “LIFE” over them…

“I will live and not die and declare the works of the LORD.” Psalm 118:17

Military suicides are on the rise: 154 in the first 155 days of 2012.
Isolated and without Your hope, Father, we cry to You. Intervene in their young lives. So much to live for but blind to the possibilities. Without Your help, more may follow. May they reach out today to those who have the answers to their needs.

Father, hold them close…

“A time for war,
and a time for peace,…
A time to mourn….” Ecclesiastes 3:8,4

The loss of a loved one is the most painful time a human heart can experience. Without The Comforter, that space without grace becomes tragic. We pray for all who suffer war’s cruel penalty to be drawn into the healing presence of Savior Jesus. That they be given wisdom and clarity to move forward in the new destiny You’ve already written for them, Father.

Father, free Bowe….

“So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” John 8:36

Bowe Bergdahl, a 25 year old Army Sergeant, has been a prisoner of the Taliban for the past three years. A prisoner of war that our government has forgotten about…but God, You haven’t.

We storm heaven on his behalf so Bowe can return home to his family.
Thank you for hearing and answering our prayers. AMEN.

We target the 2nd floor, Father…

“Ask and it will be given to you…for everyone who asks, recieves.” Luke 11:9

We ask for You, Holy Spirit of the Living God, to take up residence with our wounded warriors in the barracks. Good things need to take place there. They need to know how REAL You are. We ask and expect miracles…like Bible studies, prayer meetings, acts of loving kindness, the buddy system to be re-instated and Combat Trauma Healing Manuals to be valued and used. We thank You for hearing and answering our prayer.
