Lord God, we pray for the tourists and locals that recreate in the Old Colorado City/Pleasant Valley area.   Inspire the area’s event planners with new and fun ideas to attract visitors.  We ask that tourists who visit would be refreshed and blessed during their stay, and we thank you for the family friendly activities such as the Giant Pumpkin Weigh-Off that took place just last Saturday (with awards going to a 900-pound pumpkin).  We also pray for safety for all who venture in and out of the Old Colorado City.
