We pray for Old Colorado City merchants . . .

“I, even I, have spoken and called him;

Father God, we pray for the merchants of Old Colorado City (and neighbor Pleasant Valley), many of whom are part of the Historic District Merchants group.  When Old Colorado City was established in the hopes of becoming a major supply center to the thousands looking for gold in the Colorado Rockies, it eventually became the center of a very “colorful” life as the miners prospered.  We thank you, Lord, that today Old Colorado City’s business life centers around quality shopping, dining, and entertainment while preserving the friendly flavor of the West.  We ask that the quality businesses of Old Colorado City would grow and prosper.
