We plead for an increased awakening in Your church . . .

“In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” Matthew 5:16

Almighty God, we plead for an increased awakening in Your church. Convict us of our responsibility to live and speak Your truth and grace into our culture. Protect Your church from being absorbed into the ways of this world. And Lord, we ask for Your protection from persecution and from all attempts to silence the voice of Your church. We pray for courage and wisdom for Your people, Lord. Give us the boldness to show up, stand up and speak up for Your truth, with winsomeness and grace. Forgive us, Lord, for misrepresenting You in the way we speak and act. Correct us and guide us how to be effective in proclaiming Your truth so that unbelievers will be drawn to You.
