Palmer Park neighborhoods

“The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places;
Indeed, my heritage is beautiful to me.” Psalms 16:6

Lord God, as we turn this week to the neighborhoods adjacent south and west of Palmer Park, we pray for the leadership of school district 11 and the upcoming school closings.  We pray that they would have wisdom and the ability to envision the best reallocation of how their buildings and resources are used.  We ask particularly that those students and families who are facing the closing of Wasson High School and two elementary schools would be well accomodated in the reallocation.  We also ask for grace for those who are grieving the loss of the alma mater or hoped for alma mater.
