City Transformation: Protection and Discernment

•  Pray for our military intelligence to have awareness of any planned attacks and discernment about which to take seriously and be ready to resist.

As we pass through the anniversary of 9/11 this week and with the rumblings that our city is a terrorist target, we want to be alert to pray in faith and discernment for protection and a thwarting of enemy plans.

“Praise be to the name of God for ever and ever;
    wisdom and power are his.
 He changes times and seasons;
    he deposes kings and raises up others.
He gives wisdom to the wise
    and knowledge to the discerning.
 He reveals deep and hidden things;
    he knows what lies in darkness,
    and light dwells with him.”  Daniel 2:20-22
