City Transformation: External Identity

  • Pray that we would live up to our recent ranking as the 8th best city for “wallet wellness,” so that good fiscal habits leading to emotional and physical well being will help draw others looking for that kind of life to our city.

Branding, “best of” lists, and political posturing are all on the rise.  Colorado Springs has been more mindful lately of its image, continues to appear on best of lists among U.S. cities, and is a target demographic for politicians. As we noted last week, our city’s external identity has many facets–some positive, some not so positive, some deserved and some not so deserved. We continue to pray this week that we will be seen as God sees us: “a city set on a hill” that draws people to His Kingdom.
