City Transformation: External Identity

  • Pray that our city would be rightly viewed as one that is intelligent*, honest, thoughtful and compassionate in its political views and actions.

*Colorado Springs was ranked the 9th most educated city in the US.

Branding, “best of” lists, and political posturing are all on the rise.  Colorado Springs has been more mindful lately of its image, continues to appear on best of lists among U.S. cities, and is a target demographic for politicians. As we noted last week, our city’s external identity has many facets–some positive, some not so positive, some deserved and some not so deserved. We continue to pray this week that we will be seen as God sees us: “a city set on a hill” that draws people to His Kingdom.
