City Transformation: Pursuing our calling

• Pray for God to establish and strengthen Kingdom training and sending centers in our city.

We have heard that, among other things, Colorado Springs is called to be a teaching city, a government city, and city that sends youth to build the Kingdom around the world.  These three aspects of our calling are interrelated.  We need people who are gifted, trained and called by God to teach the youth who are interested in being sent.  We need the energy and idealism of youth to help motivate and refine our teachers.   We need to learn better how to be the ecclesia, the spiritual governing body that establishes God’s Kingdom in our midst through prayer and that provides the spiritual authority and power for the youth to transform the cities to which they are sent.  This kind of spiritual governing is part of the work of an apostolic people.

“On this rock I will build my church (ecclesia), and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.”  Matthew 16:18b
