City Transformation – Redemption for convicts
- Pray for the community of believers in the prisons, that they would grow in love, maturity, power, and influence to such an extent that the prisons would no longer be training grounds for a life of crime.
The good news is that God will accept anyone who comes to him, offering redemption, healing, and transformation of their lives. This includes those whose wrongdoing has landed them in prison. Since only a small percentage of those in prison are there for life, their full redemption will benefit not only them, but the entire community around them.
“Anyone who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with their own hands, that they may have something to share with those in need.” –Ephesians 4:28
