City Transformation: Supporting those on the front lines
- Pray for vets like Doug Alexander who are being trained to be a HERO – Human Exploitation Rescue Operative. The HERO Child-Rescue Corps Program is designed for wounded, injured and ill Special Operations Forces to receive training in high-tech computer forensics and law enforcement skills, to assist federal agents in the fight against online child sexual exploitation. Upon successful completion of the program HERO interns will have the knowledge, skills and experience to apply for careers with federal, state and local police agencies, and other organizations, in the field of computer forensics.
There are an estimated 27,000,000 people living in slavery world wide today. Some of those people are living right here in Colorado Springs and many of those are caught in the sex trade. This week we are continuing to pray for their freedom and redemption.
