Jesus, You said, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children” (Matt 19:14).
We pray for our Troops as they engage the children of war in Afghanistan. Keep Your love and compassion alive in our uniformed servicemembers. Give them wisdom on how they interact with these precious innocents. Protect our men and women from speaking words or committing deeds which cause wounds to these children. Let the least of these come to You, Jesus, as they see Your Spirit reflected through our Troops. Do not allow terrorists to use these little ones to bring harm to our warriors.
